Joseph Smith currently serves as the Operations Manager for the United Parcel Service Worldport Hub in Louisville, Kentucky. With over nine years of investigative and security experience in both the public and private sectors, he serves in providing management of the daily field operations for a workforce of approximately 130 officers. His responsibilities include oversight of screening operations, compliance functions, budget/financial requirements, program planning, and physical/operational security.
Prior to joining the Brantley family, Joseph began his career within a division of Delaware North Companies who provided the service contract for the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Florida. Joseph held numerous positions working his way through the promotional ranks within various divisions of the company. This led up to his most recent title over the last four years as the Assistant Security Manager where he was tasked with safeguarding KSC and NASA property. In addition to security management, he was also a facilitator for the companies customer service program where he instructed multiple courses on customer service, employee coaching, and client relationships.
As a new addition to Brantley, Mr. Smith holds a vision for Brantley Security Services as an industry leader and looks forward to it's continued growth.
